IT Support Specialist

TDC Investment Advisory is seeking an IT Support Specialist. This position reports to the Chief Compliance Officer.
JOB SUMMARY

The IT Support Specialist works with all colleagues as direct, on-site, real-time IT support. This role manages firm hardware, manages building-related IT, and executes the initiatives set-forth on the Annual IT Calendar. This position responds to a broad range of IT-related colleague concerns directly, while coordinating those efforts with our third-party IT vendor through a ticketing system. This role identifies and resolves IT-related issues with the highest (concierge-style) level of customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES + RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Be readily available to address any of the technical issues that might arise during a workday in relation to technology systems (a.k.a. On-Site Break-Fix Tech Support, in concert with our third-party IT vendors)
  • As a Digital Concierge, provide the highest-level of direct support to our Clients
    • Schwab Alliance
    • TDC Portal (Tamarac)
    • TDC Connect (Money)
    • IIP Technology
    • Technical Support, as needed (i.e. KBAs)
    • Assistance with CyberSecurity and device/ data protection (i.e. LastPass)
    • Assistance with Hardware/ Software
    • RightTrak
  • As the Systems Administrator, …
    • Conduct Mass System Updates to XLR8 and Tamarac
    • Daily Imports (Values, Holdings)
    • Liquidate for Fees Creation (Bulk Creation – Quarterly)
    • Security Classifications (Daily)
    • Other Mass System Updates (i.e. Adviser changes, annual ADV date update, etc.)
    • Work with TFO Insurance team (semi-annually) to maintain current client lists; update new/terminated mutual clients (add relationship)
    • Oversees daily CRM updates & portfolio reporting system reconciliations
    • Data integrity and information system support for Advisor Team (Tamarac, eMoney, XLR8, PC, BAA, Schwab)
    • Battea Quarterly Reporting
    • Quarterly Statement processing
    • Concierge experience for New Colleagues
    • Creating/ Terminating/ Updating access in Salesforce, Tamarac, Schwab, etc.
  • Evaluate, plan, and execute/direct the changes or additions of processes, computer operations, and technical systems within the existing infrastructure
  • Management of technology suggestions dashboard
    CERTIFICATIONS OF PURSUANCE
    • Salesforce experience, required + Certified Administrator (ADM-201), a plus
    MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
    • Bachelor’s degree in CIS, IT, or related field required
    • Strong communication and computer skills, work well with others, attention to detail
    • Eager to seek continued industry education
